Installation Instructions

danzat Boot Warmers
Instructions for fitting adhesive Velcro:

Your danzat Boot Warmers come with a self-adhesive Velcro patch to secure the toe. This prevents the warmer from rolling back in deep snow and makes for a tighter seal.

To Apply:

  1. Place your clean dry boot in the binding of your skis.
  2. Remove the paper backing and stick the Velcro on the center of the boot toe, near but not touching the binding toe piece.
  3. Repeat with other boot.

Boot with Velcro toe.

The Velcro patch stays on your boot, ready to secure your Boot Warmer on cold days and keeping the boot warmer clear of the boot/binding interface.

Using your danzat Boot Warmers:

There is no left or right, but you might find you prefer one way to the other. For best results, make sure you put your boot warmers on before you go out into the cold. It is important that you start with a warm boot shell. To put the boot warmers on simply slip the boot warmer over the boot toe with the nylon strap under the sole of the boot. Then it is as easy as stretching the wings around the heel of each boot and pressing the Velcro together. Step into the binding and go have fun!

Helpful Hints:

  1. Try not to rip the boot warmers off at the end of use. Unfasten the Velcro carefully and the adhesive part will stay on the boot as long as you need it.
  2. Depending on the brand of boot you wear it might be necessary to slip the rear closure a little higher to ensure a clean entry into the rear boot binding.
  3. Your danzat Boot Warmers are designed to withstand plenty of walking around. For longer wear we recommend taking them off when walking to the car or for longer distances.
  4. Dry your boots thoroughly at night, and always wear fresh dry socks. Loosening your upper buckles for the lift rides will help on those really cold days.
